Critical On-Scene Information

With CODES Pre-Plans, Firefighters are able to view critical information before arriving on scene. Pre-Plans can involve: number of children/persons in the household, any hazards to firefighters, pets, and more.

CODES Features

Incident Reports Page

The CODES Incident Report page automatically populates data from the dispatch CAD, links preplan records to incidents, and integrates with Waze or Google Maps for turn-by-turn directions. This platform also generates legal forms (refusal, CO readings, and service notifications), attaches attendance records, calculates manpower and hours, and more.

Testimonials

Dont’t take our word for it – here’s what the Chiefs say:

CODES granting us the ability to enter and view information on different devices has been a huge help. Interior crews are now able to collect information using an iPad while on scene, like take photos and assign emergency contacts to the report. Pre-Plans are also updated more regularly with a direct link to the pre-plan database from an incident report. The most useful feature for us is the location history and address contact lookup. While at a call at xyz address and no one is home, dispatch is busy, the crews on scene can instantly look up a full location history and browse through contact numbers or door/gate codes for that address to get into the structure.

Joe Vander Plaat, Assistant Chief

Wyckoff Fire Department

Our progressive goal to be a paperless department in 5 years took just 12 months because of CODEs.

Dan Schuster, Chief

Woodcliff Lake Fire Department

Having CODES in every fire apparatus and each firehouse has allowed us to eliminate all of our paper reports and keep everything stored in one place. All our air pack checks, apparatus checks, bottle inventory, apparatus inventory etc. are now stored in one place allowing us easily and quick access to important information. We no longer have to track down where a firefighter put documents and have eliminated the need to translate the handwriting of our membership.
